Hyundai Canada today received three top-of-class awards from Quebec-based automotive publication Le Guide de l’auto. Chief among them, the new Hyundai Kona was awarded Best New SUV. This overall win was accompanied by two category wins, namely Best Subcompact SUV for the Kona and the all-new Accent winning Best Subcompact Car.
These wins serve to reaffirm the strides Hyundai is making with its new vehicle design and packaging, with comprehensive lists of both standard and available equipment. One of Canada’s best-selling new vehicles, the Kona sets itself apart with distinct styling, a remarkable colour palette and the most satisfying driving dynamics in the segment.
A perennial powerhouse in the subcompact segment, the Hyundai Accent has served as Canada’s best-selling subcompact car for nine years running, due in large part to consistently high sales in the province of Quebec. The all-new Accent wins Best Subcompact Car thanks to new, luxury features, improved refinement and a more rigid construction.

We think you’ll like this, too:
It’s stylish, agile, suitably fast and it offers plenty of utility without giving up on the sporty side of life.
The Kona’s cute, it starts cheap and – with the turbo – it’s more fun to drive than you’d expect.
If you want to stand out in this segment, the Kona is the best choice, especially since looking so good doesn’t mean the owner has to compromise much.
